If you are in the market for a popcorn maker, there are two different types of popcorn makers to choose from: hot air popcorn makers and oil popcorn makers.   While both popcorn maker styles require that you use safety measures, the hot air popcorn maker is probably more appropriate if small children are helping out with the popcorn.  Since a majority of the popcorn makers on the market possess clear, see through lids, young children particularly love the idea that they can watch the kernels turn into popcorn.

Older children like the idea of being able to make a fast snack after long tiresome school days.  Teens can use popcorn makers to make a delicious snack—a snack that is actually healthy for them.  Plus, it is not uncommon for teens to bring home a bunch of hungry teenage friends.  Instead of letting them raid the refrigerator, popcorn makers prove to be a delightful alternative.
